Category 1: Research

My first category is research. Whether you are a school student researching parts of a lizard or a parent wanting to learn how to get rid of your daughter's poison ivy, research and search engine websites will surely help.
Research
  • Wikipedia- An online encyclopedia with everything from giraffes to Albert Einstein! Take caution that the information can be edited by anybody, but it usually is monitored.
  • Fact Hound- A website where you search a subject and it brings up librarian recommended books and websites about the subject.
  • Fact Monster-A website that takes categories of information and writes facts and articles about them.
  • World Book Online- An online encyclopedia that is very useful for any age.
  • Ask- Type a question. Get an answer!
  • Ask for Kids-Edited version and more geared towards school version of Ask.
  • Yahoo- Information on just about everything. A search engine intertwined with google.
  • Live- Another search engine used to find just about everything.
  • Google- The best and most well-known search engine!
  • Purpoogle- A purple google! Try it out!
  • Blackle - A black google that saves light energy on your screen!
  • Pink Google- A pink google, in case white isn't good enough for you!
