What toolbar should I get? Intermediate

If you read my earlier post, I talked about customizing your toolbar just a little bit. In this post I will explain some more. Finding the right toolbar is important. To help you I will list some helpful and even fun toolbars to get you started on your internet surfing journey. The one thing I find important for every toolbar to have is a search option. So if you are going to try others besides the ones I advise, (Which is great you are experimenting) make sure they have search options.
For Any Internet Browser
  • Google toolbar- Lets you search on google without going on to the website first. (Standard and necessary)
  • Yahoo toolbar- Lets you search yahoo without having to go to the website first also. It has tabs that let you check news, entertainment, and stocks on yahoo as well. It is very useful.
  • HamInfobar- Has a built in radio on the toolbar that lets you listen to a station while on the internet. It also has a search engine : )
  • Alexa toolbar- Basic toolbar for searching and finding things you need. It is very efficient and worthwhile.
  • Compete toolbar- Another basic toolbar that can be used for several needs.
For Only Firefox
  • StumbleUpon- Simply click StumbleUpon and it will bring you to a random site according to your interests and hobbies.
  • Glubble- Fun family browser that finds websites that you will enjoy.
  • ebay- Simple, but affective toolbar. It lets you search for items on ebay without even going to the site.
  • Really Simple Sticky- Another simple toolbar that lets you write notes and store them straight inside of your browser. Great if you need to remember something.
* Notice, you probably shouldn't download more than two toolbars. Your browser will get clogged up and look tacky.
